On My Table !

This is some of what I have been working on for the last week ! I have been creating some jewelry pieces for an up coming event ! I am using new and old treasures together , I have also been making some Ice Resin piece's ( will post some of those another day ) .

I was out pulling weeds in my garden last evening , it is my therapy time whenever I work in my garden . Something about the quietness and watching all the wonderful things growing and as they begin to bring forth fruit is so rewarding . I am reminded of the old timey song , I remember my mom singing it many times!

Creating

I hope everyone is having a wonderful long weekend, after this it will be chaining my foot to the studio and making myself stay on task ! I am doing a craft sale in my home town in October( which I have not done in many years ) ! So I need to get a lot of things created! I have way too many things I want to make and it always ends up .... not enough time !

I have created a pile of altered journals , larger ones and mini size.I have used paper, vintage paper,fabrics, and whatever else I find in creating these ! So will share a photo of some of them and get back to creating !

Creative Call Studios

Starting today I also have my creations available at Creative Call Studios ! It is a fabulous site that gathered together the best Christian artists and craftsmen to offer a variety of mixed media , jewelry , altered art , collage, pottery, primitives, folk art , bears , dolls and more . You will have to go and check out every shop and see all that is available !! Lots of wonderful things !! Iam blessed to be a part of this group , I have listed several items and this sweet little assemblage is one of them ...Flora , just simple !!

Altered Art Bottle

Altered art bottle I created using an old vintage bottle. I covered it with papers , vintage photo of my brothers in an old wagon ! I added some embelishments of vintage tatting , buttons , ect also . Then covered it with beeswax. I traded with Partyhatgirl on Flickr , love that site ! So many neat things on it !!! So I have posted the bottle I sent Jacque ( Partyhatgirl ) and the one I recieved from her ! It is the cutest little vintage bottle ( love the shape ) with glitter ( every girls favorite ) and beads ! It is always fun to get something in the mail !!!

Altered Art

I checked out some Thrift stores and found several treasures I have already transformed ! Two little wooden shoes , Snips & Snails and Sugar & Spice ! Vintage photos of a little girl and boy in the inside of shoe, covered with diamond glaze , embelished and hangs from a french wired ribbon. The other treasure is an old wood pear , for The Perfect Pair !!! Vintage wedding photo and other embelishments. Iam working on more things !

Altered Art Jewelry

I spent the weekend working on different jewelry pieces to list on Etsy. I get lost in my work room when I do this ! A great way to forget lifes cares. My work room looks like a tornado swept through ! Will take some time to regroup !! Pictures of latest items. I cannot understand why my latest posts dont show up , the photos do but that is all , so I hope it gets fixed !

Little Fairy House ...made this one last summer ! I have more in the works !!! Need to get at so many projects !
