Vintage Rhinestone

One of my favorite things !! Vintage rhinestone jewelry !! I was re-organizing some of my finds... so I gathered some on an old silver...tarnished tray I had and took "their" picture !!! also , is this the cutest ever little chair? I had acquired some vintage jewelry and this was also in with it all ! That is a dime sitting beside it so you can see the size of it ! Over the years some of the beads have come off , but I think it is still so very precious !

I did list a fabulous vintage rhinestone set in my SecondTreasures shop on Etsy, a vintage hair comb and matching earrings ! I think they are the most gorgeous blue color ! I don't know what it is about vintage jewelry , just has a certain appeal !

I hope to get a lot done today , so I better get busy ! I have soooo many projects to complete that I had better get on task ! Have a fabulous weekend !

Spring?

It is getting towards the end of March and yesterday I woke up to yet another dusting of snow on the ground ! I am so ready for spring to get here , but I will not complain too much about our weather as I just talked to my sister again this AM and they are all in jeopardy of flooding ! This is in the Fargo / Moorhead area ! Everyone there has been sandbagging and working so hard to save there homes! I am hoping it all goes well and homes don't get flooded!

I have been working on several spring things ! Some paperclay creations ! A bunny that is standing on a distressed wood base and holding some adorable vintage millinery flowers. And a spring chick that is captured in a jar , the lid is embellished with vintage sheet music paper and then glittered, topped with some paper flowers and aged tag ! The bunny is here in my Etsy shop and the spring chick is here in my Lollishops shop !

Spring Ahead !

Well tonight we have to "spring" ahead one hour ! Oh this time change is a hard one to get use to !! The fall back an hour one is a whole lot easier to get accustomed to ! Clock is in my studio ! A garage sale find last summer !

The shelf is in my kitchen and holds one of my favorite things ..... the little green box ! One of my friends gave this to me quite a few years ago and I have treasured it , love the color of it and the sweet little flower on it !! Thought I would share such a sweet little treasure to see !

Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend and enjoy the "spring" ahead , hope it means that spring is closer ! We still have snow !
