Baby it's Cold Out There!

I knew it was coming ..... but I am never prepared! The temp outside this AM is -28 below ! Yes , it does even get a lot colder than that around here , but this is the first very low temp for this winter. At least we don't have but a dusting of snow yet ! A short post today , I leave you with a little snowman that went up on Etsy & Lollishops yesterday !!! Fitting for the weather !

coldness !!!!

That is what the weather is suppose to be , coldness beyond description ! With a -15 below temp & around eight inches of snow, have no idea what it will actually be like with the wind chill , but it will be COLD ! I think I will fill up my vehicle today to be on the safe side and get some supplies !

I will try to complete many projects that I have started and also Christmas gifts , so thankful for a warm home !

I listed some things on Etsy , I repurposed a vintage silver chalice into a birdie nest, fit for a queen ! A one of a kind treasure ! Also listed a collaged pink dress, with a vintage earing for some fabulous bling !

Winter Came Early !

Woke up this morning to a gentle surprise ! Did I say gentle? It is more of a shocking one! Snow coming down , wet and heavy , covering everything ! I am so not ready for winter yet ( I never am ) . Snow, cold ,just plain don't like it ! But I still live here, so I need to adjust! Below is a photo I took on my deck of a little wood bench I have a string of lights on and a bird cage.....they are covered! Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr !

I made a big pot of chicken and dumplings ! What could be better to have on a cold day? My most favorite chicken broth to use is Watkins Poultry Broth ! Pictured here ! I love using this brand , not so salty as some others , yet so easy to keep on hand!
