Yup , I am in love !!! With a new favorite site that is ! Pinterest , I am a visual person , so it is easy for me to get lost and waste... I mean ...use my time wisely, checking out all of the wonderful photos ! I have also been crazy busy still making things! I made up some altered dominoes to use in some pendants and magnets, also have small tiny one's ( they were hiding in another place ) ! I love my little wooden display holder , holds them perfectly !
A good friend of mine went to an auction sale that I was unable to attend & she was so kind to purchase several wonderful finds for me ( she knows what I love ) ! The little wooden display was one purchase and the brass letters . You should take the time to check out her Etsy shop , FoundOnThe Prairie great vintage treasures.We sometimes love the same things so it's best were not at a sale together !! Just kidding Melissa ! These are the brass letters that were used for printing , I will use them for jewelry !
Also been working on some book markers , using vintage velvet ribbon and lace then adding vintage beads & treasures. Makes for an elegant book marker !!
Made two entries for a challenge on our Yahoo group for Altered Pages , was anything metal!! One is an ATC with a "metal" key that I made from the "metal" tape from hardware stores, just ran it through my cuttlebuf with a Tim Holtz die. Also an altered tin, was from a tin I had in my "pile" for a long time.
