Re-Do !

Where do the days go? Sorry about not getting back to my little ole' blog for more posts , but it has been crazy busy !I could list it all , but you would get bored! Took a before photo of a chair I have in my living room , was a flea market find many years ago , I painted it and recovered the cushion . Well that was a few years ago & children and kitties , so I "re-did" the chair ! I had a chandelier stencil and painted on some linen fabric and also on the back , had some chocolate brown fabric ( same as my drapes) and made a small pillow. I have so many projects to catch up on and I am also trying to get a lot of things made for an up-coming craft sale, will post some photos at a later time of some of those things !

Saturday Finds !

Has been awhile since I posted ! I have been under the weather for quite awhile and Iam just now starting to feel better , so I listed some finds in my SecondTreasures shop on Etsy ! The sweetest little baby dress with a pink hanger and pink buttons on a card , this would be adorable to hang in a nursery !I have a ton of vintage buttons and I am slowly working on a destash project ! Here I attached some black vintage buttons on some tags , also in my SecondTreasures shop!And I will also be listing a lot of vintage handkerchief's ! This is a set of two that I will be listing also . One is pink and the other yellow , same design with the tags on still !
Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend ! We got another three inches of snow yesterday so I should go and finish shoveling snow !!

Vintage Overload !

This past week I have been going through a lot of my supplies and re-organizing stuff..... oh goodness ! I realized I have vintage overload !! I really need to start to let go of things and pass them on to others ! Vintage lace , doilies, and such has always been a Passion of mine , so if I was at an estate sale or garage sale I just could not let it just sit there , I had to "save" it !! I will be listing a lot of my vintage linens in my second Etsy shop SecondTreasures , so if you love vintage linens keep checking my shop ! This morning I listed this adorable vintage shirt / blouse , has so much detail in the sheer fabric , I have it on a vintage wooden hanger and a cute little rhinestone pin to keep it closed !! Adorable to hang in your shabby or cottage style home !

I have been trying to get some fall things put out around my home this last week ! How fast summer went by , it seems I did not get everything I wanted to do done, as usual ! But it seems like fall is in the air & on it's way ! Some of the leaves are starting to turn, I don't know if this makes me happy or sad, I love fall and the fabulous weather we have , but then I also know that winter is coming ..... I have yet to ever want winter ! This is a photo of some treasures I have had for quite some time that I arranged under a glass dome. A vintage cut glass pitcher with some fall berries, a very very old little broom , a roseville pheasant and a card my sister made ( she is the card maker in the family ) ! Sitting beside the glass dome is a vintage hat that was my mothers, velvet leaves all in fall tones , how cool is that !? But I guess I would never be tempted to actually wear it !

Sweet Surprize !

This morning ......as every morning , I get up ,make coffee, and then go check my emails & Etsy ! When I first looked at the front page I thought to myself " I've seen that Treasury List before" ( not enough coffee as of yet ) ! Take a closer look and it is the list that happygirlgreetings had put together, you should check out her shop , she has beautiful cards !! So I was on the front page this AM , nice to wake up to ! Along with many others , but another favorite seller and Cottage Style Street Team member included in the list was Brandywine , her shop is amazing !!
